About sports

Imagem
Hello everyone! Today I'll write about sports. Well, I began practicing sports at age 3, when I attended swim classes. My mother always gave me motivation to exercise and be healthy. At age 8, I began having tennis classes too, but left soon. After my mom's death, in 2005, I went back to the tennis with my father. I think I spent about 8 months having classes that time, and I really enjoyed this sport. Oh, and I have to say that my father is a sports enthusiast. Nowadays, he runs daily and goes to the gym often. He always tells me that sports are a key asset to a healthy life, among proper alimentation and other things.

Text 2 in English

Well, as I once said here, I am training my writing skills in English. That's the reason I'm writing this text, just trying to say something cool and that will help me using this language. I was wondering which subject would be nice to write about. As my previous post was about Law, I decided to not write about anything related to it. So I decided to write about Caetano Veloso, a well known brazilian composer and singer. My relation with him started back in 2002, when my mom used to play his records in her car, so I was nearly obligated to listen to his songs, among with other artists, such as Chico Buarque, Fábio Jr., Barry White, etc. Being exposed to all that stuff, I became a music fanatic, as well as a fan of many artists. But speaking about Caetano, my mom used to sing to me his famous song "O Leãozinho" (the little lion), saying that I was kind of her little lion. So, in 2005, a very sad thing happened to me: I lost my mother, after a 6-year battle agai...

Some things in English

Well, as a way of training my English skills, I'll write some texts about a wide range of subjects. This one will be about Law. First of all, I'd like to say that it is very related to my family, since my father and brother are lawyers. But they work with it starting recently: my brother graduated in Law last year and my father last month. So, they are kind of newbies in this subject. Speaking about myself, I simply love Law, but I think I wouldn't be a good attorney. I have this opinion because I tried to learn Law for some months, but it simply didn't work. I had many questions  about it and I found it to be very complex, although I liked to attend the classes and made my homework decently. Nowadays, I have some kind of admiration to judges (as well as to all the people who work with Law, but judges are more badass than the others, IMO). I'd love to attend audiences and simply see all that thing work. It's such an interesting science (the Law science).
